Kendamil reaches royal heights with Queen’s Award 2020

We have just been awarded the coveted Queen’s Award 2020, the equivalent of a company knighthood, in person. A few weeks ago, the Lord-Lieutenant for Cumbria, Claire Hensman, handed the award over in person at the factory to our Founder, Ross McMahon. We were awarded the accolade for Enterprise in International Trade, due to our outstanding year-on-year growth by 360% in overseas earnings over the last 3 years! Ross said: “The Queen's Award celebrates the successful exports of Kendamil into 40 countries across the world. It recognises the quality of our products and the commitment of our team to provide parents with the best baby formula in the world.” First established in 1965, the Queen’s Award is one of the most prestigious business awards in the UK. The awards celebrate the success of exciting and innovative businesses which are leading the way with pioneering products or services, delivering impressive social mobility programmes, or showing their commitment to excellent sustainable development practices. We are proud to add the Queen’s Award to our list of awards won for our Kendamil baby milk and cereals. We have also just won the Monde Grand Gold Award in 2021, considered the equivalent of the Nobel prize for food and representing the highest standards in Europe and the world. We have also won Gold awards from both Mother&Baby and Made For Mums for our baby milk and cereal range.
