Thank you to everyone who came to speak with us at the Infant Allergy Conference!
Our team enjoyed speaking with members of the healthcare community about their experiences with infant allergy and the challenges that they encounter when diagnosing allergies.
At Kendamil we believe that there are a number of misconceptions around feeding disorders which have precipitated an increase in the prescription of specialist products like formulas for cow’s milk protein allergy. Open Prescribing shows that these formulas cost the NHS more than £11M annually. A recent study published in 2020 found that while up to 14% of families believe that their child may have a cow’s milk allergy, the reality is that the true number of children with a condition may be closer to 1%.(1)
If you didn't get a chance to join us in central London, don’t worry! Our paper 'Understanding infant feeding disorders and their misconceptions' is available to read here.
