How Coverage Works
Step 1 – Prescription
A physician or dietitian provides a prescription or letter of medical necessity for the product with the applicable HCPCS code.
Step 2 – Insurance Review
Insurance evaluates coverage for medical nutrition under the submitted code.
Step 3 – DME Fulfillment
A DME provider supplies Kendamil or Kendakids and manages insurance billing.
