How Coverage Works
Step 1 – Prescription
A physician or dietitian provides a prescription or letter of medical necessity for the product with the applicable HCPCS code.
Step 2 – Insurance Review
Insurance evaluates coverage for medical nutrition under the submitted code.
Step 3 – DME Fulfillment
A DME provider supplies Kendamil or Kendakids and manages insurance billing.

WIC Coverage
KendaKids is now accessible through WIC in select states, helping improve access for families who need pediatric nutrition support.

As with all WIC programs, state-specific guidelines apply, and products outside of standard contracts may require documentation and approval
